Founded in 1933, Boulangerie Asanoya is a long-standing bakery that everyone in Karuizawa knows about. On top of that, many people all over the country love this bakery, which has many branch stores. There is a large variety of breads - hard breads, soft sliced bread and other danish pastries, etc. - is made in a stone oven, specially created by Spanish artisans. Kyu-Karuizawa Kyudohonten is the main shop which is always filled with people. It has also became a famous tourist site.
