Yokohama Zoological Gardens Zoorasia

Yokohama Zoological Gardens Zoorasia

Zoorasia is a zoological park that allows its wildlife to roam around freely in wide spaces using as little fences and cages as possible so that you can view the animals in an environment similar to their natural habitat. The park is divided into 8 different climate zones including, Asian Tropical Forest, Subarctic Forest, African Tropical Forest, African Savannah, Oceania Grassland, Central Asian Highlands, Japanese Countryside, and Amazon Jungle. This unique kind of display featuring animals in their respective habitats is a special method rarely found around the world. Here you can also meet okapi which are considered one of the four rare large animals of the world.
