Uogokoro Kitokito was opened as a restaurant directly managed by “Nakajima Suisan”, the local fish wholesaler that has been in business in Atami for around 70 years. The chef knows everything about fresh marine products and fish. Their dishes has many fans. The owner designed the interior of the restaurant making it all about fish like putting up colored fish prints. During lunch time, they offer generously portioned rice bowl including Kaisen-don while various selection of tasty a la carte menu along with drinks during dinner time.

Gokai Tendon (1,450 yen) is a rice bowl where a lot of tempura completely covers the rice. Placed on top are many kinds of tempura including shrimp, vegetables and conger eel and you will never be tired of eating them. The batter of each tempura keeps the sauce and is yet crispy. It is a very generous dish with staggering amount of tempura on top.
