In the permanent exhibition room in this museum, you can see a reconstruction of a part of Ninomaru Palace. Ninomaru Palace is inside the Nagoya Castle, which is one of the three biggest castles in Japan. In addition to the art pieces, the space, where those pieces are exhibited, is also truthfully reproduced. Therefore, you can observe how the palace looked like back in the day.

Situated right next to Tokugawa Art Museum, Tokugawa-en is a Japanese garden built inside the house of the feudal lord who governed this territory in the 16th century. Beautiful lakes and waterfalls are located inside the garden. You can also enjoy the flowers of each season including cherry blossoms in spring.
