Chisuian

(Source : 食べログ)
Chisuian is a restaurant in an old traditional Japanese house and surrounded by beautiful green mountains and forests. This spot has a relaxing atmosphere with jazz music in the background, soft illumination from lights covered with traditional Japanese paper and could appropriately be called a hidden paradise for adults. The restaurant uses soba flour that comes straight from the farm with the real fragrance of natural country-style soba. Chisuian is most famous for its “koten soba” (1000 yen) which is made by grinding the soba with a stone mortar and are limited to only 10 servings a day. The high reputation of this spot is upheld by the thick noodles with strong flavor, and flavorful soup made from bonito stock. The restaurant has a modern monotone atmosphere with the warmth of wood interior. Come by Chisuan to enjoy genuine soba in a relaxing space where time just seems to flow leisurely by.
