Takahashishi Nariwa Museum was built in 1953 in honor of a local painter, Torajiro Kojima (1881-1929), and for the citizens of the city of Takahashi. The present facility was built in this location in 1994 as a third building. The museum was designed by the architect Tadao Ando, and it has one basement floor and two above ground floors with exposed concrete exterior walls. It features a water garden, a lecture room and a cafe as well as exhibition rooms. This amazing building will stimulate your artistic creativity.
