Seirokaku

A Korean-style barbecue restaurant that serves a great bowl of “Morioka Reimen”, the regional specialty in Morioka, Iwate Prefecture. Their Morioka Reimen is a bowl of thick homemade noodles with a unique chewy texture in the sweetened soup made with beef bones and tails. It is well matched to the spicy, sour kimchi. It is so popular a dish that there are days that they sell more than 1,000 bowls a day. While Reimen (1,000 yen) is being very popular, they also offer another original menu “Tokusei Onmen (Special hot noodle)” (1,400 yen). The restaurant is conveniently located near Morioka Station.
