Sapporo Winter Sports Museum is located on the site of Okurayama Jump Stadium where Sapporo Olympics were held in 1972. A lot of material, items and documents about international convention held in Sapporo are displayed, such as the Sapporo winter Olympics, the Nordic World Ski Championships, and the Winter Universiade. Besides, it has a realistic simulator corner to experience winter sports.

Okurayama Viewing Point

Okurayama where Sapporo Winter Sports Museum is located has a viewing point and you can take a lift up close to the viewing point. Enjoy a view of famous sightseeing spots in the city like Odori Park and Sapporo Dome from the 307 m high viewing point. On a sunny day, you will get a scenic view of Hokkaido's nature such as Ishikari Plain and Ishikari harbor.

Take a bus to Miyanomori Schanze on JR Hokkaido Line (7 min from Maruyama park station on Sapporo Municipal Subway), get off at Entrance of Okurayama Studium, and walk for 10 min
