"Ramen Furuki" is hidden in the residential area of Asahikawa city. It is actually a well-established ramen restaurant, known as a great restaurant by locals for more than 30 years now. The typical soup of Asahikawa ramen is soy-sauce based, yet miso soup is popular at "Ramen Furuki". Word has spread that it serves one of the best miso ramen in Asahikawa. Now its fame has been spread among tourists from inside and outside of Japan. Although it is a very popular restaurant, there is no branch restaurant in the country. Therefore, it is also very charming that the friendly family still runs this restaurant at the same place where it was founded.
