Pairon

Pairon is a well-known ramen shop as an originator of Jajamen, one of the Three Great Noodles of Morioka and signature food in Iwate. Freshly boiled udon is topped with a secret miso sauce, cucumber, and green onions. You can add some ginger, vinegar, Chinese chili oil, and onion to make your original if you like. The noodles mixed with all those toppings tastes so rich and addictive. There are a lot of fans that love this jajamen that hasn’t changed for more than 60 years since the shop’s opening. After eating jajamen, add some hot water that the noodle was boiled in and some eggs into your bowl to make the delicious soup, “Chi-tan-tan” (50 yen)!
