Noritake no Mori (Garden)

Noritake no Mori is a complex with a 48,000-square-meter large garden, restaurants and a museum, sponsored by the traditional ceramic company "Noritake." The buildings used to be an ancient factory of the former Noritake, called Nippon Toki Kaisha, built in 1904. As a result, they are made of very charming red bricks. In fact, it has won many prizes such as the "Good design award" and "Governmental award of organization for building national communities." Furthermore, the place is illuminated beautifully during Christmas in every winter. It has became a famous winter event of Noritake no Mori.

At Craft Center, you can closely observe the techniques for fabricating the ceramics called bone china by experienced craftsmen. You can also try painting plates or cups to create your own dishes.

Shop where you can find beautiful plates

Inside the park, there is a shop where you can buy Noritake's dishes. There are expensive ceramic plates, everyday plates and discounte plates available. Find beautiful plates that would embellish your kitchen and table!

There is a restaurant called "Kiln" serving many creative French dishes on Noritake's dishes in the park. The dishes, made of local and fresh ingredients, are served on beautiful plates. It is just exceptional!

Amazing winter illumination

In Noritake no Mori, winter illumination, called "Christmas Garden at Noritake no Mori," takes place from the beginning of November until Christmas each year. The 14-meter-high Christmas tree and the illumination with 40,000 light-bulbs look amazing!
