Nagoya TV Tower

Nagoya TV Tower, standing tall in Hisaya Odori Park, is the first broadcasting tower built in Japan in 1954. This 180 m high tower has two observation decks: Sky Deck at 90 m and Sky Balcony at 100 m. You can look over the city of Nagoya from here. On top of that, you can even capture Mt. Otake. In addition, the tower is illuminated 30 min before sunset to 2 am in the morning. Therefore, the tower looks different at night.

Skywalking

At Nagoya TV Tower, skywalking is organized from 10:00-16:00 every weekend and on holidays. From the third floor, you can walk up 245 stairs that takes you to the Sky Deck. Some parts of the stairs are transparent, so you can see under your feet. It is very thrilling! Why don't you try this thrilling 15-min walk?

Lover's Sanctuary

The Nagoya TV Tower was registered as a "Lover's Sanctuary" in 2008. It is the first one in Nagoya. On the Sky Deck, there is a big heart-shaped object called PROMISE HEART. On top of that, there is a Lover's Sanctuary monument on the Sky Balcony which is surrounded by many couples.

Nagoya TV Tower stands inside a huge park, measuring 2 km long from north to south, called Hisaya Odori Park. It is an oasis for Nagoya citizens who relax while watching the fountain and flower gardens. In Los Angeles Plaza, there are various reproductions of the handprints and the footprints of famous celebrities including Marilyn Monroe.

Central Park Shopping Center

Nagoya is famous for its developed underground city. In fact, there is a shopping center called Central Park under Nagoya TV Tower. Although stores mainly sell women's clothing and accessories, there are also coffee shops and restaurants. Why don't you have a cup of coffee here after visiting the tower?
