The symbol of Moerenuma Park is a 32 m tall complex-shaped pyramid. The surface of the pyramid is made of glass making for a beautiful scene within the park. Inside of the pyramid are restaurants and galleries, where on weekends dances and concerts are held making it the cultural center of Moerenuma Park.

The largest construction within the park is Mt. Moere. This is the only mountain in eastern Sapporo which acts as not only a landmark of the park, but of the entire surrounding area as well. Climbing to the top offers great views of the surrounding area from a viewing platform, and in winter, when snow piles up, Mt. Moere is used for sledding and other winter activities.

Sea Fountain is located in the center of the park. In his lifetime, Noguchi was well known for his work and expertise on water art, which is revealed in the program of the Sea Fountain that beautifully communicates both the fury and stillness of the sea. The program of the Sea Fountain lasts for all of 40 minutes. At night, one can view illuminations which react with the splashing of the fountain creating a beautiful work of art.

The Forest of Cherry Trees is a playground area containing seven large play structures that were imagined for the ideal adventure for children 90 cm or taller. The original playful spirit of Isamu Noguchi is packed into these playground structures which are aimed to stimulate the imaginations of children. This area of the park is also known as an excellent cherry blossom viewing location with over 2,300 cherry trees blooming in spring.
