(Source : 食べログ)
Michi-no-eki (roadside station) Utoro is located at the gateway to the Shiretoko Peninsula. Many tourists visit this place as a base for sightseeing of the World Natural Heritage Site Shiretoko. The Michi-no-eki Utoro Shirietoku is a popular restauant in the building. The restaurant offers unique dishes under the concept of "meals can be dined only in this place in this season". It serves various dishes that are unique to Shiretoko using fresh local ingredients that are at their peak of the season in partnership with local markets and fish dealers. In Hokkaido's native people's language, Shirietoku means "end of the land". When you visit Shiretoko, try the local specialty at the end of Japan.
