There is a small hall in Sanzen-in where large number of women have come to pray over the years called Ojo Gokuraku-in. Inside is enshrined the culturally treasured statue of Amida Sanzon whose godly shape expresses the very essence of nirvana. Sitting to the sides of the Amida Sanzon are two rare Kannon Deity statues called "Yamato Suwari."

One can enjoy flowers and trees through the changing of the seasons in this moss covered park with a small pond in the center. It is said the konjiki-sui (golden water) in this park can bring happiness and long life. There are also many small jizo statues called “warabe jizo” lightly placed throughout the grounds that seem to be protecting the temple.

One can enjoy seasonal flowers throughout much of the year, but it is during early summer when one is treated to an especially beautiful wonder when the park is dyed by the color of hydrangeas. During the flowerless winter, the park is covered in snow. Many people come to find tranquil repose in the quiet scenes of this beautiful Japanese temple.
