It is rare that a ropeway stops in the middle of its way. On this ropeway, you can get off at Onsenji Station to visit the 1300-year-old main hall of Onsenji temple which is chosen as Japan's important cultural property. As you go through the gate of the ropeway station, don't be surprised to see a statue of Buddha in front of the station. Next to the temple, Kinosaki Museum is situated. You should definitely drop by at this station.
