Kakiwai is a café run by an oyster restaurant, Kakiya. Kakiya is a one of a kind restaurant specialized in oyster dishes on Miyajima Island, Hiroshima. The café is located on a hill, commanding a splendid view of Miyajima’s five-story pagoda. You can get a breathtaking view of the town and the Seto Inland Sea from the open terrace. Kakiwai serves a Café Menu, including Cake Set. Single dishes, such as Kakiya’s original oil-marinated oyster (800 yen), cheese, and ham, are also available in addition to a wide selection of drinks including wine and cocktail.
