Hakkoda Ski Resort

In winter, even in March, excellent powder snow and snow monsters welcome skiers in Hakkoda. (From the end of January to the beginning of February, huge snow monsters are seen on top of the mountain.) The ropeway carries visitors to the slope with plenty of snow which is not compacted. Visitors can enjoy excellent powder snow during the coldest season. It is also known as the ski resort which is open until spring, even after the middle of April.
