Genkoan

The main hall at the Genkoan Temple features two windows that represents Buddha's doctrine. The circular window is called "The Window of Enlightenment" and the square one is called "The Window of Confusion". On the ceiling of the main hall, you will find the blood-stained boards originally form Fushimi Castle that remind us of the sad stories of the fall of this castle.
