JR Central Towers

JR Central Towers is a complex of Nagoya terminal building where the shinkansen bullet trains, conventional railway lines, and subway lines arrive and depart. The building is 245 meter high and the second tallest terminal building in Japan. The office building on the north has a department store from the second basement to the 11th floor including restaurants, apparel shops, food stores, etc. The south building is a hotel. Since it is a hub station, many people go through here. It attracts people as an observatory to look at the city sights around the station.

The office building has a department store from the second basement to the 13th floor.  All kinds of products are here from foreign brands to Japanese traditional craftworks, which is perfect to buy as souvenirs. The food level called "Depa-chika" on the basement has been attracting attention from abroad. It has some food exclusively sold here around Nagoya. You must check it out!

Panorama Salon on the Top Floor for Your Tea Time

The 51st floor, the office building's top floor, is called Panorama Salon, "Cafe du Ciel." You can get a splendid view overlooking Nagoya city while having a decent cup of originally blended tea and special cake. Enjoy the wonderful view.

Sky Street & Free-of-charge Observatory

JR Central Towers has "Sky Street" that connects the office building lobby and the hotel lobby on the 15th floor of each, and its ceiling is 10 m high to make the space expansive. You can have Nagoya's city view from 70 meter above. Since no admission charge is required, you can drop by while you wait for your train.

The hotel building is Nagoya Marriott Associa Hotel. It has the best access directly from the station, a touch of class, and courteous service, and is favored not only by Japanese but also foreign tourists.
