Huis Ten Bosch is a theme park which recreates a Dutch town. “Huis Ten Bosch” means “house in the woods” in Dutch. The 6　km long canal runs through the park in which ships sail by. There are also various amusement facilities, shopping area, and restaurants. Its site area is as large as 1,520,000㎡ and is known as the largest theme park in Japan. You can see beautiful scenery with a lot of seasonal flowers like tulips and roses add bright colors to the extensive site.

Symbol of Huis Ten Bosch: Tulips

The symbol of Huis Ten Bosch is their tulips. During the Tulip Festival held from the middle of February to the middle of April every year, many tulips bloom everywhere in the park creating a magnificent scenery. You can enjoy a picturesque world in every corner of the park.

Rose Garden

The “Rose Garden” extends in one corner of the park. It is designed beautifully with a fountain in its center. The best season is early summer. During The Rose Festival in May and June, 1,200,000 roses of 2,000 varieties are in full bloom. You can enjoy the largest rose town in Asia.

Kingdom of Light: an illumination

The illumination display in Huis Ten Bosch, “the Kingdom of Light” is held from the end of October to the middle of April every year. It is even growing every year. Today, its illumination uses as many as 13,000,000 light bulbs that makes it the largest illumination display in the world. Enjoy winter in Huis Ten Bosch filled with lights.
