Hotokegaura is famous for its rare landscape created by rough waves. Large rocks in distinctive shapes are strung out over 2 kilometers along the shore. Since the rugged scene is out of this world, it has reminded Japanese people of Jo-do, the world Buddhas. It has a 90-meter-high cliff, so it is difficult to approach from land but it is worth visiting Hotokegaura where you can get divine power. You are sure to be attracted to the breathtaking view.
