A small town located in the east of Hokkaido, Akkeshi. Akkeshi bay is facing towards the Pacific Ocean and known as an area that produces great oysters. The sea water in this area has a colder temperature than others and that coldness makes oysters take more time to grow and become larger than usual. The restaurant in Sapporo, Gotsubo Susukino offers those oysters caught in Akkeshi for a surprisingly reasonable price. Only 100 yen each! There are only five seats in the restaurant, but you can still enjoy drinking in front of the restaurant. The restaurant is filled with people both inside and outside the building during its business hours.
