Located within a 10-minute walk from Kamakura Station, Tsuruoka Hachimangu Shrine was built in 1063. This shrine is a symbol of the historic city, Kamakura, and it is associated with the first shogun of the Kamakura shogunate, Minamoto no Yoritomo. The shrine holds many Important Cultural Properties in its precincts. Beautiful seasonal flowers can be enjoyed throughout the year such as cherry blossoms and wisterias in spring as well as autumn leaves in fall.

Mushinan is a cafe that serves Japanese sweets and stands right by the railway. Customers go down from the station's platform, and then cross the railroad and enter the cafe. Its signature menu is "Cream anmitsu" which is made of ice cream, jelly, sweet bean paste, mochi and a variety of fruit (800 yen). It has the right amount of sweetness to it.

The Great Buddha at Kotokuin is known as one of Japan's two Great Buddhas along with the Great Buddha of Nara. It measures 11.31 m in height and 121 tons in weight. It is said that it took five years to complete. The Great Buddha at Kotokuin is designated as a National Treasure. The interior of the Buddha is hollow and visitors enter inside.

In the rainy season of June, colorful hydrangeas are in full bloom in various places alongside of Enoden Line. Especially beautiful are the hydrangeas at Jojuin which is located at just a 5-minute walk from Gokurakuji Station. Visitors can enjoy Yurigahama Beach and the stunning hydrangeas at the same time.

A beautiful sunset can be seen from many places from Enoden via a train passing by the ocean. Above them all, the sunset view from Inamuragasaki is breathtaking. The sun is setting over the ocean alongside the silhouette of Mt. Fuji. It is truly a romantic sight.
