Edogawa, Naramachi

(Source : 食べログ)
The building of Edogawa Naramachi was renovated from a 150-year-old merchant's house called machiya. They serve fine Japanese cuisine such as domestic eel, regional vegetables called Yamato yasai and local chicken from Nara. You can enjoy dining in a refined, traditional Japanese house while viewing a beautiful garden. They cook their eel in a Tokyo style where the eel is cut open along the back, grilled without seasoning, steamed and then grilled again with a sauce, making the eel very fluffy.
