Healthy and Affordable Kumiage Yuba-don

Kumiage Yuba-don (rice bowl with yuba toppings) (720 yen), topped with smooth soy milk-covered yuba and a raw egg, comes with osuimono (clear soup) and pickled vegetables and is very affordable. Wasabi can be added according to preference. It is only at a specialty store like this, that you can thoroughly enjoy smooth yuba.

Relaxing Interior

The wood used for the tabletop is natural solid wood and gives a warm feel. All seats are in a horigotatsu (low table to sit on the floor with hollow legroom), so that you can dine comfortably as if sitting on a chair even in a Japanese ambiance.  Relax and enjoy the gourmet of Kyoto.
