Yojiya is an old establishment based in Kyoto selling cosmetic and makeup-related products. The "abura-tori kami" mentioned on the signboard are cosmetic oil-absorbent papers that are popular souvenir items for international and domestic travelers who visit Kyoto. They opened a flagship store, Yojiya Cafe, in Haneda Airport Terminal 1. The Cafe offers everything from traditional drinks to Kyoto-centric sweets on their creative menu. Next to the eating area is a section that sells Yojiya products, so plan your souvenir shopping while you enjoy your coffee and sweets.

Special Cappuccino

The most popular item on their menu is a cup of cappuccino with coffee art of the famous Yoji-ya. It’s so perfectly done that you almost don’t want to ruin it by taking a sip. With a plate of bracken-starch dumplings called warabi-mochi, you feel immediately transported to Kyoto. Matcha, or green tea, cappuccino is also highly recommended.

Limited edition item that you can buy only at Haneda

In an adjoining store section, various skincare products ranging from oil-absorbent papers and hand creams, to soaps and lip balms are sold. Among them, aloe-containing oil-absorbent paper is sold only at this store, which makes it a perfect souvenir to take back home.
