Yakushima Environmental Cultural Village Center
Located at the entrance of Miyanoura Port, Yakushima Environmental Cultural Village Center offers general information on the nature and culture of Yakushima Island. There are amazing videos in the Large Screen Theater featuring the island's abundant nature. It also displays models that illustrates Yakushima's ocean, village, forests and mountain peak in an ascending order in the Exhibit Hall. In the free Entrance Hall, visitors can access information on Yakushima's natural environment and weather through maps, videos and computers. There is a shop where visitors can buy all of Yakushima's local specialties.
