Shokudoen

Shokudoen is a long-standing, Korean-style barbecue restaurant established in 1954 known as an originator of Morioka Reimen, a specialty in Morioka, Iwate Prefecture. Their soup is made from 80% beef stock and 20% chicken stock. This original, rich soup tastes refreshingly light with just the right balance of sourness and sweetness. The medium sized, chewy, sleek noodle matches this light soup perfectly. Kakuteki, radish kimchee generously put on top adds some hot flavor to this sweet and sour soup. It is the best after eating grilled meat.
