Shikisai-no-oka

Hokkaido is a very popular travel destination for both domestic and foreign people. A city of hills, Biei is especially famous as a place to enjoy the scenic beauty of nature. Shikisai-no-oka is a popular sightseeing spot for its flower gardens on about 15 hectares of hills. You can enjoy glorious views of tulips in spring and seasonal flowers from May to October. Because of snow, you can't see flowers in winter but you will be able to enjoy Hokkaido with some winter sports in spacious premises.

Check out the large hills on a tractor bus

There are many ways to stroll around the large Shikisai-no-oka not only on foot but also by a tractor bus, cart, or buggy car. In particular, we recommend the tractor bus that runs through the flower gardens. You can see Hokkaido's vast scenery of hills and mountains of the Daisetsu-zan (mountain range) as well as flower gardens on this bus.
