The long-standing izakaya (Japanese-style pub) located in Sakae, downtown Nagoya, Sekai no Yamachan is the most recommended izakaya to eat chicken wings, the famous local food in Nagoya. Practically most customers order their popular menu, “Maboroshi no Tebasaki (legendary chicken wings)”. It has been their best recommended specialty since the opening in 1981 and now it became one of the menus to represent Nagoya food. They also offer other specialty food of Nagoya such as deep-fried prawns, miso cutlet and kishimen noodles.
