Seifurou is located near Odawara Castle which is one of the most popular destinations in Kanagawa Prefecture. Founded in 1862, this well-established kappo ryotei (traditional Japanese restaurant that serves fixed course meals) has been popular with locals, tourists and many intellectuals for a long time. The current owner is the fifth generation of his family. Their recipes have been handed down to him over the ages. These include their distinctive eel dishes and other new recipes that have been developed making use of the traditional flavors. Although it is a kappo ryotei restaurant, they serve varieties of a la carte dishes like skewed chicken as well as rice bowls. So drop in and try their sophisticated cuisine.
