Okurayama Viewing Point
In 1972, when the winter Olympics were held in Sapporo, Okurayama Jump Stadium was the site of the 90 m ski jump. Nowadays, the facilities are still used for winter sports and when there aren’t scheduled competitions or practices, the area is open to the public. Okurayama which is well known as a popular tourist spot lies at an elevation of 307 m offering clear views of the ski jump platform and Sapporo City from the observation deck.
