Nasu Safari Park

Nasu Safari Park is located in Nasu highlands which is popular as a resort in Tochigi and 70 kinds of 700 animals are in captivity here.  You can go round the vast premise of the park by a car or a lion bus where large animals live, can observe them closely, and can experience feeding grass-eating animals. From spring to autumn, the park opens a night safari and you can observe nocturnal animals like lions or tigers.

Safari Zone

In the Safari Zone, large animals like lions, tigers, giraffes, and elephants live in an environment which is close to wild conditions. You can go into this zone by a car or a lion bus and can observe dynamic figures closely.

Feeding experience with grass-eating animals

In Nasu Safari Park, you can feed freely to grass-eating animals like elephants, giraffes, and so on. You can see them closely and touch the long nose of an elephant or the long tongue of a giraffe. These are a little bit different experiences from ones in ordinary zoos so not only children but also adults will enjoy it!

Touching Zone

This park has a Touching Zone where little children can enjoy. They can touch and feed rabbits, guinea pigs, goats, and ponies. You can interact more closely compared to Safari Zone.

Night Safari

Nocturnal animals hardly move and mostly lay down in daytime. In Nasu Safari Park, you can see such animals moving actively in the  Night Safari. This Night Safari is held mainly on weekends from spring to autumn.
