Nankinmachi

Nankinmachi is the district that has Kobe’s chinatown which is one of the three biggest chinatowns in Japan. There are 100 shops in the area which stretches 200 meters east to west, and 100 meters north to south. Since this city is compact but authentic Chinese can be enjoyed, many tourists visit this popular spot. The events based on the Chinese calendar such as Chinese New Year festival in winter and Mid-Autumn festival in fall are held in Nankinmachi square, they are also a must-see.
