Sumida River Fireworks
This is the largest firework event in Tokyo. Around 20,000 fireworks, from small to large and from traditional to the latest ones, such as fireworks submitted to the competition, will be launched at the Sumida River Fireworks. One of the attractive features of this event is that you can enjoy viewing fireworks from various locations including looking up from a Yakatabune, a Japanese-style houseboat, or looking down from the Tokyo Skytree, and watching them while lying down on the street, which are turned pedestrian only for this event.
