Morioka Fireworks Festival

It is the biggest fireworks festival in Morioka, held around the riverbank of Kitakami River, downstream of Tonan-Ohashi bridge which is located in the south part of Morioka city. There are some programs performed other than fireworks such as the majestic performance of local traditional drums called Tonan Daiko.
