Take a Trip Through the Air Over the Ikaho Onsen Town
Ikaho Ropeway connects the 499 meters between Hototogisu Station in the Ikaho Onsen district and Miharashi Station on Mt. Monokiki. The ride is quite short at about four minutes; however, you get to enjoy a trip through the air while looking upon the onsen town that unfolds underneath. It is open throughout the year and departs every 10-15 minutes.

Around Miharashi Station, there are many highlights such as Tokimeki Deck ("heart-struck" deck) and Ikaho Shinrin-Koen (Ikaho Forest Park) with an impressively large area.
