Hamazaki

(Source : 食べログ)
Hamazaki in Isobe Town, the center of Shima Peninsula, is a popular restaurant that serves local and seasonal seafood dishes at reasonable prices. Two brothers own this restaurant. The older brother is a Japanese cuisine chef, and his younger brother is a sushi chef. Therefore, you will enjoy a wide variety of dishes from genuine seafood dishes and Nigiri-zushi (hand-pressed sushi) to donburi (rice bowl with toppings) and set meals at lower prices. As their alcohol menu is also rich with locally-brewed liquor, wine, etc., you can enjoy food or drinks.

Proud of the Rich Variety of Dishes!

Hamazaki serves a wide variety of dishes such as genuine Nigiri-zushi, donburi like Tendon (a bowl of rice topped with tempura) and Katsudon (a bowl of rice topped with fried pork cutlets), and set meals at lower prices. The rich variation of dishes is also an attractive feature of this restaurant, because the tag team of a Japanese cuisine chef and a sushi chef manage it.

Set Meals in Sufficient Volume

The most recommended dish is a set meal “Sushi Gozen” (1,800 yen) which consists of Nigiri-zushi made by the younger brother and side dishes and tempura made by the older brother. Of course, Nigiri-zushi is fresh and springy, and just-fried tempura is crispy and superb!

Enjoy Seasonal Seafood in Donburi

A very popular donburi dish is “Kaisendon” (1,600 yen) topped abundantly with seasonal seafood such as greater amberjack, Spanish mackerel, etc. This dish enables you to enjoy several kinds of seasonal and best delicious seafood at once. If you can’t decide what to order, this is highly recommended.
