In this district stands the Cup Noodles Museum, a very popular facility among foreign tourists today. You can not only learn the history and secrets of the world’s first instant ramen, but also make chicken ramen or your original cup noodles. There is an activity for children where they can experience the manufacturing process through the noodle’s point of view. There is also a shop where you can try noodles from many countries in the world. You cannot get bored even if you stay here for a whole day.

Instant Noodles History Cube

The first room on entering is the Instant Noodles History Cube. The selection of instant ramen packages displayed all over the wall is overwhelming. With more than 3,000 packages, the lineup starts with the first “Chicken Ramen” and covers the history of cup noodles till date. It is a collection of instant ramen culture.

Chicken Ramen Factory

You can make chicken ramen, the world’s first instant ramen from scratch, starting with kneading the flour and experiencing all the process through to packing. You can design the original package with your drawing. It is a great way to make something to remember your trip. (junior high school student and over 500 yen, elementary school student 300 yen/ required time 90 minutes; *reservation is required)

My Cup Noodles Factory

You can make your own completely original cup noodles at My Cup Noodles Factory. Design the cup and choose your favorite soup and toppings. There are as many as 5,460 combinations for this selection. You can either purchase an admission ticket with facility usage fee in advance on the WEB or take a number distributed in limit on the spot. (1 serving 300 yen/ required time, 45 minutes)

You can enjoy various kinds of noodles from all over the world at “Noodle Bazaar.” The best way is to order some different kinds and share with your friends for one serving is not very large. Enjoy the noodle culture of the world at Noodles Bazaar in an Asian night market atmosphere. Each serving costs about 300 yen.

The museum shop on the first floor is must-see. They have original goods including key holders, notebooks, snacks and so on. Especially the cute goods of Hiyoko-chan, the chicken ramen character, are very popular.
