Chidorigafuchi is one of the moats surrounding the Imperial Palace. About 260 cherry blossom trees flower along the moat and it is one of the most popular sakura viewing spots in Tokyo. Since visitors can enjoy not only walking along the 700 m esplanade lined with sakura but also view illuminated cherry blossoms at night, as many as over one million people visit here during that time annually. You can row a boat here even at night in cherry blossom season. So how about getting a closer look at the lit up blossoms at night?
