Hiroshima Andersen is the main store of the popular bakery chain, "Andersen", which has approx. 74 stores in Japan and also some stores in Denmark and in the United States. A bakery is situated on the first floor and a café on the second floor. Opened in 1967, they used the rare Western-style building that has stayed intact when the war hit the city of Hiroshima. Here, you will enjoy freshly baked bread or sandwiches for breakfast. You can have healthy grilled dishes accompanied by bread during lunch. On top of that, you can also have side dishes that go well with a glass of wine at night. * As the building is under renovation, a temporary store is opened since March 2016. The renovation is estimated to finish around 2020.
