●National Donburi (rice bowl) Competition The “National Donburi Competition” is in its 10th year! A local rice bowl competition where visitors can try and choose the donburi they loved the most. The donburi with the highest numbers of votes wins this competition. In order to commemorate this event's 10-year anniversary, this year you can try three donburi that have been winners twice in the past. ●Local Festivals Local festivals like Aomori Nebuta Festival, Akita Kanto Festival, Kochi Yosakoi Festival, and Okinawa Zento Eisa Festival will be performed at this event. More than 15 groups of performers will entertain the audience through dynamic performances some of which will include colorful floats. ●Nigiwai-ichi (local food market) Nigiwai-ichi is a local food market that sells more than 300 kinds of delicious food including seafood like sea urchin and salmon roe, branded Wagyu (Japanese beef), and other traditional dishes and local noodles. Tokyo Dome City’s Winter Lights Garden is a must-see evening event and the theme for the 14th annual illumination is “Edo elegance-Japanese beauty.” Focusing on Japanese aesthetic and design, the illumination is created using many patterns and motifs related to Japanese traditional crafts.●LaQua Area

This illumination features beautiful patterns of Edo Kiriko, a traditional craft of Tokyo. The patterns of Edo Kiriko that are displayed using an interactive projector change as visitors move around, just like when you turn a kaleidoscope.「TEMARI」
With 10 meters height and 12 meters width, the illumination at this dome changes its colors simultaneously creating an overwhelmingly mesmerizing atmosphere.「MANGEKYO」
