A special running experience with the sight of Mt. Fuji!
One of the most celebrated mountains in Japan, Mt. Fuji. Pink cherry blossoms in spring, fresh green leaves in summer, bright red and yellow leaves in fall, and pure white snow in winter: Mt. It was also registered as a World Cultural Heritage in 2013.

Running through the bright red and yellow leaves.
Magnificent view of Mt. Fuji, beautiful autumn leaves of Lake Kawaguchi, and the serene sight of the lakeside…this marathon course is blessed with breathtakingly beautiful views. You can run the full marathon of 42.195km going around Lake Kawaguchi and Lake Saiko, or the Charity Fun Run of 10km around Lake Kawaguchi.
The unique aspect of this marathon is that it receives the generous support of locals. Local high school student groups keep cheering runners for four hours at the 80m climb, a tough spot in the race. There are plenty of aid stations to support runners, and after the finish, even bread and warm pork-based soup is provided.
Commemorative medal shaped like Mt. Fuji!

*Starting this year, Charity Fun Run runners will be given a medal with a different design.
