The coffee culture in Japan is still relatively new; however, many cafes have been popping up in neighborhoods like Kagurazaka and Kuramae in Tokyo. In this feature, we introduce a cafe that sells coffee beans straight from Chiang Mai in Thailand. Akha Ama Coffee Roasters Tokyo opened in Kagurazaka, Tokyo, in July 2020 and is its first overseas branch.
