A brand new Pokémon Center; Pokémon Center Shibuya opened at SHIBUYA PARCO on November 22, 2019.
This Pokémon Center is the 14th Pokémon Center opened in Japan, and it's the only place for you to find Pikachu in the heart of Tokyo.
Unlike other Pokémon Centers, which most are decorated with white walls and colorful Pokémon; Pokémon Center Shibuya opts for black walls and floors. Instead of Pikachu, Pokémon Center Shibuya went for a Pokémon that fits its image perfectly - Mewtwo. At the entrance, you'll find a life-size Mewtwo floats peacefully in a tank.
Pokémon Center Shibuya adapted Shibuya street style as its theme, and so far it's the coolest Pokémon Center we've been to.
The black walls and floors at the entrance are lighted with white LED lamps, and the popular Pikachu and Pokémon are decked out in street graffiti.
The showcase displays skateboards and street style-themed merchandises, which apparently are sold only in Shibuya.
Aren't they cool?
You'll find a big Pikachu; decked out in street graffiti as you entered the main area of the Pokémon Center.
