Not sushi but desserts on a conveyor belt in Tokyo!

Most of you must have heard or even tried conveyor-belt sushi! You pick the plates you wish to eat. In July 2018, a dessert store based on the same concept opened in Harajuku, Tokyo called MAISON ABLE Cafe Ron Ron!

A cute cafe with the sweet aroma of desserts and soft, pastel tones! Let's check out what Cafe Ron Ron has in store for you.

From buying a Ticket to being seated

First you need to buy a ticket. If you add the store to as a LINE friend, you get 100 yen off. Use to the QR code - easy peasy!

Once you buy the ticket, choose your drink. Aren't the tumblers cute?

It's time for the sweet treats!

The best thing is you can have unlimited desserts for 40 minutes straight! Every sweet lover's dream :D

Please note you can take two plates at a time. This is mainly to avoid wastage, so make sure to take your time and enjoy the sweets.

The drink you bought first is poured into one of these colorful cups, if you can't finish it you can ask for a cap and take it out too.

You must be wondering what Ron Ron stands for, right? Ron Ron is the purring sound cats make in French when they are content or satisfied so you'll see cat-shaped edibles on various desserts.

Our Three favorites!

Instagenic: Cheese Mousse A cheese mousse topped with colorful, tiny marshmallows.

Mochi Mochi Ice Daifuku A daifuku is topped with a monaka showcasing the Ron Ron logo.

Chocolate Mousse and Matcha Pudding We couldn't choose between these two so decided to introduce both as our top three! The chocolate mousse has an intense chocolate flavor while the matcha pudding isn't too sweet resonating with traditional Japanese desserts.

Get savory items too!

Everyone obviously notices the desserts first but if you look carefully, you will notice plenty of savory items too. The order in which is the dishes rotate are "Sweet - Savory - Sweet".

Other notable points

The phrase 'a piece of cake' that you see on plates and napkins is apparently a shout of encouragement by Cafe Ron Ron to its customers. There are other phrases used too, so check them out.

Not only will you leave with a full belly, but you'll probably also feel really cheerful.
The restroom is on the second floor and even the staircase is up to the mark when it comes to cuteness.
