A delight for chocolate lovers: Godiva × Lawson Uchi Cafe

When it comes to buying desserts in convenience stores in Japan, Lawson probably has the best in terms of taste and quality. The newest products are a must-try for all chocolate lovers. This autumn, a collaboration between GODIVA and Uchi Cafe resulted in LAWSON selling two new treats from September 4, 2018.

Topped with pecan nuts, a chocolate ganache sits on top of a biscuit crumb that has a slight flavor of almonds and feuillantine.

The ganache itself has an intense chocolate flavor. Although small for the price, the quality of this product is value for money!

The logo on top is made from chocolate and overall, the smell of cacao is appetizing.

The mont blanc is made using chocolate cream, chocolate ganache and European chestnuts.

Sprinkled with chocolate shavings and cacao powder, you get hints of sweetness and sourness through the cassis jelly too.

The chocolate-coated base is supposed to be similar to a meringue, but felt like cake; having said that, the balance with the rich cream is exquisite. We loved the aroma of cacao and chestnut the minute we opened the packet. An ideal late night treat to enjoy in your hotel after a long day of sightseeing!
