A chance to take photos with the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Mascots
Two years to go before the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and you can now meet the cute mascots, Miraitowa and Someity at the Tokyo 2020 Mascot House! The event is on till September 6, 2018.
The mascots were chosen through a voting process by elementary school children - the first time in Olympic history. Miraitowa is the Olympic Games mascot; Mirai means future and towa is eternity. While Someity is derived from Somei Yoshino, the most popular cherry blossom variety, and the phrase "so mighty."
