So hot in Japan! People are frying eggs outdoors!

The temperature has gone over 40 degrees for the first time in five years in some parts of Japan! ??️ Even though in Tokyo, the forecast says 36, it definitely feels like 40! The temperature has crossed 40 degrees in Gifu. Nearly 10,000 people have visited hospitals as a heat wave continues to affect Japan. The figure below gives you an idea of the intensity of heat. Summers are usually hot and humid but this year is a lot hotter than usual. No wonder people have been eating eel in summer as it is known to increase strength and reduce suffering in the sweltering days of summer.
